Symposium 219

Kopenhagen, CANCELLED

Symposium is cancelled.

Symposium 219 zal doorgaan in Kopenhagen met als onderwerp:

IBD-Patients-In the centre of Care.

Dear colleagues,

Our therapeutic options in the treatment of IBD are continuously increasing, however, while focusing on a particular medication, we tend to neglect the patient view. Thus, when choosing the central topic for this Symposium 219, organized by the Falk Foundation, we decided to place the patient in the center and entitle the symposium “IBD patients – in the centre of care”. The program aims to shed light into the possibilities of luminal strategies including nutrition and microbiome, to provide a practical approach to clinically challenging situations on multiple levels as well as specifying possible implications of personalized medicine in 2020 and last but not least illustrate an outlook on future IBD therapy. This ambitious program is only possible because excellent scientists and clinicians confirmed their participation. The meeting will take place in Copenhagen, the beautiful capital of Denmark. Copenhagen is one of the most vivid cities in northern Europe, known for hosting the Little Mermaid as well as being one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world.

We hope to share this program and lively discussion with you and are looking forward to welcome you in Copenhagen.
